Designed by Ballentine Architects, the Peak Design retail store located on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California, represents a forward-thinking approach to modern commercial architecture and experiential retail design. Tasked with translating Peak Design’s ethos of sustainability and functional aesthetics into a physical environment, the architectural strategy focused on developing a detail-centric experience that was conducive to community gatherings. The Los Angeles flagship utilizes sustainable locally-sourced timber and exposed industrial concrete to create an immersive, tactile customer experience that perfectly frames the brand's photography and outdoor gear.
